JAN MARIE CHESTERTON APPOINTED TO IHMRS BOARD
White Plains, NY, August 23, 2010…Jan Marie Chesterton, president, New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSH&TA), has been named to the Board of Directors for the International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS). The next edition of the IHMRS will take place November 13-16, 2010, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 2010
WHITE PLAINS, NY, August 9, 2010…Advance registration is now open for the 95th annual International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS), North America’s largest showcase of hospitality products including amenities, food & beverage, fixtures, furnishings, linens, sustainable products, tabletop, technology and more. A discounted registration fee of $30 is available through October 8, 2010, with the rate increasing to $50 per person on October 9. Taking place November 13-16, 2010, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, the IHMRS features 700 exhibitors and attracts some 30,000 in total trade attendance.

The latest products and services from more than 700 exhibitors, education focused on business growth and opportunity in a new economy, and a co-location with Boutique Design New York, a new hospitality interiors fair, will highlight the 95th annual International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show (IHMRS), taking place November 13-16, 2010, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Some 30,000 professionals will attend the hospitality industry’s leading North American event, in addition to 3,000 designers, architects and developers at Boutique Design New York.
IHMRS ANNOUNCES FINALISTS FOR 30th ANNUAL GOLD KEY AWARDS
WHITE PLAINS, NY, July 22, 2010…The International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS) has named finalists for the 30th annual Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design, an honor presented annually to design firms representing the most innovative hospitality properties completed or renovated within the past 18 months. Finalists were selected by a panel of notable industry experts from 180 projects in 19 countries. Winners and finalists will be honored at the Gold Key Awards Breakfast Ceremony on Monday, November 15, 2010, 7:30 - 9:30 am, at the Mandarin Oriental New York. The Awards are sponsored by Interior Design and HOTELS magazines and coincide with the 95th annual IHMRS, taking place November 13-16, 2010, at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

WHITE PLAINS, NY, February 12, 2010…Pedro Mandoki, CHA, owner and president of N.P. Hotel Group, Inc. and Mandoki Hospitality (Gulf Shores, AL), has been appointed chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2010 International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show® (IH/M&RS). A former chairman of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) and 40-year hotel and resort industry veteran, Mandoki will lead efforts for the 95th annual IH/M&RS, taking place November 13-16, 2010, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. In addition, Turf Hotels President Michael C. Hoffman has been appointed to the nine-member Board of Directors.
IH/M&RS Now Accepting 2010 Seminar Proposals
WHITE PLAINS, NY, January 18, 2010…The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) is now accepting seminar proposals for the 95th annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IH/M&RS), North America's premier event for the hospitality industry. Industry experts are encouraged to submit timely and relevant topics for consideration, to be presented during the IH/M&RS, November 13-16, 2010, at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The deadline to submit proposals is March 1, 2010.
IH/M&RS 2009 Delivers Business Opportunities for Hospitality Industry
WHITE PLAINS, NY, November 18, 2009…The International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IH/M&RS) proved once again to be the event for suppliers to meet hospitality industry decision-makers as the 94th annual Show drew 16,371 operators, and a total trade attendance of 26,801, to New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, November 7-10, 2009. Optimism of an industry upswing was evident through orders written, leads generated, increased international attendance and enhanced participation by the equipment dealer community.
