The Culinary Resource Center at the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show will offer NY Metro area “foodies” a veritable feast for the eyes, as well as the palate. This smorgasbord of culinary ideas and inspiration includes:
• Seven live demonstrations and tastings by noted area chefs
• 300+ breathtaking displays of “food as art”
• 60 hospitality schools offering enrollment and admission information.
Sunday, November 13, and Monday, November 14, 2005.

Demonstration Kitchen - an intensive culinary program featuring both pastry and traditional demonstrations in which chefs conduct live cooking demonstrations and offer tastings. Appearances are sponsored by Food Arts, Societe Culinaire Philanthropique, Le Cordon Bleu Schools North America and the International Chef Association (ICA)-ACF Big Apple Chapter.
Salon of Culinary Art - Breathtaking displays of “food as art” featuring fancy buffet tables, decorated fish and poultry, pastry work, spun sugar, cocoa-painting, wedding cakes, centerpieces and all types of artistically presented foods. Master Chefs, Pastry Chefs, Bakers, Butchers and Culinarians’ Apprentices from around the world display their culinary and decorative skills. Produced by the Societe Culinaire Philanthropique.
Schools – Leading culinary and hospitality institutions from around the world, offering enrollment information and applications.
